On-site Electrostatic Painting: Serving New Jersey!

Electrostatic painting is a unique technology that gives a perfect paint coat to a any metal surface using positive/negative electrostatic forces. Using electrostatic painting methods, the opposite static charges of the surface help paint to stick evenly, dry quickly, and hold strong. Egert painting now serves all of New Jersey with our on-site electrostatic painting service.

Tpyically customers utilize on-site electrostatic painting services for items that are either permanently installed, too heavy, or too costly to transport to a proper spray booth. Such items include:

  • Aluminum Railings
  • Safes
  • Refrigeration Display Cases
  • Factory Machinery
  • Lockers
  • Office Partitions
  • Metal Office Furniture
  • Metal Window Frames
  • Metal Doors and Door Frames
  • Restroom Stall partitions
  • Stairwells
  • Wrought Iron
  • Chain Link Fences
  • Architectural Metal Work
  • Structural Steel

How it works:

An electrode is attached to a surface to provide it with a negative charge. The paint is then sprayed onto a surface using an electrostatic sprayer which adds a positive charge to the paint. The paint evenly adheres to the surface due to the opposite static forces that become magnetically attracted to one another during the process. The positively charged paint and negatively charged surface also assist in drastically minimizing overspray, so minimal paint is wasted and finished products look even and professional.
